For 26 years, the Curaçao Innovation Award recognizes the island’s most innovative entrepreneurs who have made significant contributions through their creative efforts. Nominees have introduced a groundbreaking innovation or adapted an existing one to create a positive impact.

What is Innovation?

Innovation at the Curaçao Innovation Award means:

  • The introduction of new products, services, or processes.
  • Enhancements to existing solutions that meet market demands.

Award Categories

Throughout the years, categories have been adapted to reflect changes. As of 2023, the categories are:

  • Business Innovation Award: Focuses on profitability and competitiveness of innovations.
  • Circular Innovation Award: Evaluates inclusivity, regeneration, and distribution of benefits.
  • Digital Transformation Award: Recognizes comprehensive digital integration in business processes.
  • Junior Innovation Award: For entrepreneurs under 21, championing new or adapted innovations.
  • Overall Winner: Curaçao Innovation Award: Highlights innovations impacting Curaçao’s socio-economic development.

  • Students, Innovators and researchers
  • Businesses of all sizes, foundations, and associations.
