Join the winners of the 2024 Hackathon and help develop “Safe Place 4 me”, a digital mental-health platform for youth

CITI is excited to share updates on “Safe Place”, led by Sorayda Arrindell and Jenilva Coffi-Alberto and developed in collaboration with CITI. This exciting initiative has moved from idea to action.

Since it was selected as the winner of the 2024 Innovathon, the team presented the initial concept and outline of the platform to stakeholders last October. We are now inviting more stakeholders to get involved and join a presentation of a draft version of the website on 29 January 2025, at 19:00, at CITI.

Our goal is to create an accessible, interactive, and engaging space where young people can find tips for immediate support, guidance to the right mental-health resources, and tools to address common mental-health challenges. To build this unique platform, we are pooling the knowledge and expertise of local youth, mental health professionals, and organizations.
