CURAKNOW

What is CURAKNOW?

CURAKNOW, “Curaçao Island of Knowledge”, is Curaçao’s edition of European Researchers’ Night and the Researchers at School project. These are annual, Europe-wide celebrations that bring research and researchers closer to the public. The project consortium consists of:

• Curaçao Innovation & Technology Institute (CITI)
• TAO Curaçao
• Curaçao Outdoor Industry Alliance (COIA)
• Ocean of Knowledge Foundation Curaçao

The activities are carried out in close collaboration with:

• Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports
• Ministry of Economic Development
• SDG Action Week
• Kaya Kaya
• Renaissance Mall & Riffort
• Curaçao Innovation Hub

The idea of CURAKNOW is simple: See your island through a new lens.

Discover the science behind our oceans, environment, technology, health, energy, food, culture, and everyday life, and meet some of the people who are researching, experimenting, and finding new solutions.

Curiosity required. Lab coats and goggles optional.
