CITI, MEO, and the EU offer support for startups and businesses with a smart idea
The Startup Launchpad program was launched in September 2017.
Fifteen entrepreneurs were selected for the first round of the Startup Launchpad, which kicked off on 2 November 2017.
After an intense month, five entrepreneurs were selected at the first pitch contest on 1 December 2017 to take part in the second round and gain access to a voucher of up to ANG 20,000 each.
On 22 August 2018, these five competed for first and second place.
The jury selected ADG and HQ Rental Software, and each received ANG 20,000 in voucher and grant financing. HQ Rental Software went on to win the final and received an additional ANG 20,000 in grant money.
The program was financed by the EU, through the innovation program of OCTA (the Association of Overseas Countries and Territories), and by the Ministry of Economic Development.
